The Hinkley Point C nuclear power station is a significant undertaking, aiming to build a 3,200 MWe nuclear facility equipped with two EPR reactors in Somerset, England. Tasked with the crucial responsibility of delivering the necessary temporary site supplies for this ambitious project is UKPN Services, the appointed delivery partner. Specifically, this tender pertains to the provision of three out of the 51 substations essential for supplying temporary power during the construction phase. It’s noteworthy that this successful bid aligns with the terms of our existing contract, denoted as PMI 92.
Scope:
This package involves the construction of three of the substation bases. This is a live nuclear operational site with high security work areas. The overall project scope as follows:
