BLU-3 TEAM SET FOR LONDON TO BRIGHTON CHARITY BIKE RIDE
Seventeen staff from leading infrastructure provider blu-3 will join over 15,000 cyclists taking part in the British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) London to Brighton Bike Ride, taking place on June 17, 2018 to raise funds for the charity.
The team, led by blu-3 Chairman Danny Chaney, is made up of people from across the business including operational, commercial and support staff. Setting off from Clapham Common in London, the team will cover a formidable 54 miles to reach the finish line in Brighton.
Oliver Nunn, Site Manager, Victoria Circle, at blu-3, said: “Some of the team have taken on the challenge before and some are novices, but all of us are committed to making it to the finish line and raising as much as possible to support the BHF’s vital, life-saving work.
“Heart and circulatory disease claims the lives of more than one in four people in the UK, over 150,000 each year. This is why it is so important to raise funds for the BHF, and why every single donation counts, no matter how small.”
The British Heart Foundation is the biggest independent funder of cardiovascular research in the UK and has helped to halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease.
