BLU-3 WIN EIGHTH CONSECUTIVE ROSPA AWARD
Specialist infrastructure provider, blu-3, has been recognised once again for its outstanding commitment to workplace health and safety with a prestigious Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) award.
blu-3 has achieved its eighth consecutive RoSPA Gold Achievement Award, earning the company its fourth Gold Medal, handed out to organisations which have achieved five to nine years of consecutive Gold Achievement Awards.
The awards were presented during a ceremony at ExCeL, London, on June 19, 2018.
Coenraad Fourie, HSEQ Director at blu-3 said: ‘‘The RoSPA Awards are internationally-renowned as the most respected in the health and safety arena, with almost 2,000 entrants every year.
“We’re thrilled to have succeeded at the awards again this year, having achieved Gold every year since 2010. It’s gratifying to have our efforts recognised and reinforces blu-3’s reputation in maintaining a safe and harmonious work environment.”
The RoSPA Awards are an independent validation of performance and are open to organisations throughout the world from a broad range of industries. Celebrating continued improvement in health and safety, the awards are presented to companies with superb occupational health management systems. Finalists must evidence exemplary ill health, accident and enforcement data as well as rigorous standards of risk management.
blu-3 considers its workforce to be its most valuable asset and keeps health and safety at the forefront of its practices. The company frequently implements new initiatives to promote employee wellbeing, including S.A.F.E. (Stop & Think, Attitude, Focus, Engage) which has helped maintain an excellent accident-free working hours record.
