Project Challenges & Solutions:
- Utilising a vast supply chain to ensure ourĀ materials are manufactured and delivered to site on time and to the high qualityĀ necessary for this developmentĀ
- With just-in-time deliveries being stipulatedĀ by the client due to the lack of availableĀ on-site storage, it was essential that this wasĀ managed effectively and consistentlyĀ
- Specified stone and street furniture hadĀ to be sourced from many different countries Ā including the UK, China, Portugal,Ā Italy, Holland & SpainĀ
Scope:
- To source, supply and install hardĀ landscaping to the Chelsea BarracksĀ development located in the CityĀ of Westminster, LondonĀ
- Works included granite clad plantersĀ and louvres, high-spec paving,Ā stone cladding to public squaresĀ & private gardens, as well as installationĀ of water features, drainage and RCĀ
- Additional works included removal, refurbishmentĀ and reinstatement of railings surrounding theĀ development which are of historical significanceĀ to English Heritage
