Value
The Paddington Cube project in Central London presented us with an opportunity to deliver a utilities and works package at one of the most up-and-coming areas in London.
Project Challenges & Solutions:
The work carried out by blu-3 formed part of a larger project that saw the building of a new 360,000 square foot cube that sits on a three-storey podium above a newly created public space in Paddington.
Under the contract with Great Western Developments, blu-3 was tasked with carrying out utility works alongside various highways works. Installing and diverting a range of mains supplies in the area, our work facilitated improved access to the area and enabled the successful completion of the project.
Scope:
- Gas, water, electrical and telecommunications utility diversions as critical path item for the main build
- Pre-construction services consultancy to facilitate C4 quotations and methodology development
- Trial hole investigation package delivery for diversions
- New Supplies & road build
