Challenges and Solutions:
Accelerated works programme from 5 to 6 day working to achieve client milestone date. Site based design support to fast track any changes as required.
Maintenance of sports ground access for events and training. Construction of temporary access trackway to minimise outfield damage due to construction vehicle traffic with pedestrian crossing points.
Erection of 12m high netting along the side of the work site to protect sports equipment. Creation of exclusion zone around site compound.
Scope of the project:
Construction of a new substation compound, which included a new Switchroom and two Bunded Transformer bays
Creation of a new access road from low level concrete
Construction of new perimeter fencing
