- The bridge was at the end of its operational life and had significant safety issues to be addressed
- Road blocker had to be removed as it had been installed by Hochtief
- Complex interfaces with Network Rail, utility companies, TFL roads and local residents

- The scope of this project was to carry out utilities works associated with the replacement of A1 Upper Holloway Road over railway bridge scheme
- Diversionary utility works for installation of new bridge Divert 2 way 100mm duct with fibre optic cables into the new service bridge
- The construction of two new footway chambers to intercept existing duct route in footway
